Livingston County Library to hold stuffed animal sleepover

Later this month, Livingston County Library in Chillicothe will hold an event for children and their stuffed animals. Children's Services Coordinator, Jodi Moore, says children ages 12 and under can drop off a stuffed animal of their choice anytime from 9 to 5 on the 27th.

"We do some fun stuff with those animals overnight and then they are welcome to pick up their animals the next day on September 28th from noon to four. And when they pick up those animals, they will learn all the fun stuff and all the mischief that their animals got into during the sleepover the night before."

Moore says she is not sure what happens in the library after hours.

"I envision maybe watching a movie, having some popcorn. Maybe sliding down a staircase, or maybe playing on the elevator or coffee machine. But we will just have to wait and see what they end up doing."

Interested families should drop off a stuffed animal of the child's choice from 9 to 5 on the 27th at the Livingston County Library in Chillicothe and then pick them up the next day to find out what adventures they had.
